Keep Saraland Beautiful congratulates Sandy Daughtery of 211 Chase Drive for winning the “Yard of the Month” for May. There is beauty all around in this tidy lawn decorated with lush hanging ferns, sun-kissed daisies, other seasonal plants and, as a bonus, a colorful birdhouse for all our lovely springtime birds.April 2025 Yard of the Month
Keep Saraland Beautiful congratulates Mike and Janise Connell of 1705 Gold Stream Drive for winning the “Yard of the Month” for April. Their beautiful yard is a masterful arrangement of lush red knockout roses paired with vibrant sunshine ligustrum and loropetalum shrubs. Hanging baskets of ferns and front porch seating provides a relaxed setting for enjoying our spring weather.March 2025 Yard of the Month
Keep Saraland Beautiful congratulates Angela Bryan of 4361 Orbit Avenue for winning the “Yard of the Month” award for March. Their yard with its flourishing landscape has a varied assortment of shrubs and blooming flowers in many contrasting colors. The large macho and kimberly ferns that adorn the front porch are spectacular, and are a timeless and southern tradition.May 2024 Yard of the Month

Criteria: • Selections will rotate monthly to different parts of the city • Yard must have some seasonal color • Yard should have one or more specimen trees • Garbage cans, water hoses should not be visible from street • Lawn should be well-maintained Home should not be for sale Any suggestions for Keep Saraland Beautiful's Yard of the Month program are welcomed.
